Uttar Pradesh: Ruckus over name plates on shops, Minority Welfare Minister Danish Ansari said- ‘CM Yogi has always…’

After the order to display the names of their owners or workers at these shops in all the hotels, dhabas and eateries located on the 240 km long Kanwar Yatra route in Muzaffarnagar district, the Uttar Pradesh government on Friday issued a similar order for the entire state. Many parties including Samajwadi Party and Congress have called the Yogi government’s decision wrong. Meanwhile, UP government’s Minister of State for Minority Welfare Danish Azad Ansari has given a big statement. He said that ‘On the UP government’s decision to put name plates on the shops on the Kanwar routes in the entire state, UP government’s Minister of State for Minority Welfare Danish Azad Ansari said that just a few days ago, the Tajiya procession was also successfully completed by the Uttar Pradesh government. Kanwar Yatra is in the coming time. Keeping that in mind, Chief Minister Yogi has given instructions for the necessary things that should be done.’
Ansari said, ‘Our state government is working with the intention that whether our minority brothers or majority brothers of Uttar Pradesh, all of them should coordinate with each other in the society and take the society forward towards development. The Yogi government has always worked with the intention that any festival of any caste-religion can be celebrated smoothly and joyfully on the ground. The Yogi government has always worked for the brotherhood of the state with a positive attitude. There is no talk of Hindu-Muslim in this. In the coming time, the Kanwar Yatra will also be done well.’
BJP MLA came out in support of Keshav Prasad Maurya, said- ‘Some people…’ Also gave a statement on CM Yogi
It is worth noting that Muzaffarnagar SSP Abhishek Singh had said on Monday, ‘Preparations for the Kanwar Yatra have started in the district. There is a 240 km long Kanwar route here. All the hotels, dhabas and cart owners located on the route have been asked to display the names of their owners or the people working there. This is necessary so that there is no confusion in the mind of any Kanwariya.’
He had said, ‘This has been done to ensure that there is no confusion among the Kanwariyas and a law and order situation does not arise. Everyone is following it voluntarily.’
VK Mishra, in-charge of the weights and measures department of Meerut, said that according to the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006, it is mandatory for every restaurant or dhaba operator to write the name of the firm, his name and license number.
