An incident of theft in a closed house by thieves has come to light in Roorkee. The thieves made away with jewellery and cash worth lakhs. The house owner saw this incident live on his phone and informed the police. After which the police reached the spot but by then the thieves had fled.

Theft in closed house of a military personnel

Thieves stole jewellery and cash worth lakhs from the closed house of a former military personnel in Roorkee. At the time of the incident, the military personnel was in his government residence in Dehradun with his family. When he saw the theft incident on his mobile through the CCTV installed in his house, he informed the police about it. He himself also came to Roorkee. The victim has given a complaint to the police and demanded action in the matter.

Saw on the phone that some people are closing the gate

According to the information received, Sunil Bhadola, a resident of Subhash Nagar in Roorkee Ganganahar Kotwali area, said that he is an ex-army man. After retirement, he is working in Military Engineering Service Dehradun. On Friday, he was at his government residence in Dehradun. At around 1:30 pm, he saw on his mobile that some unknown persons were closing the gate of his house. He immediately informed about this on 112. After which he himself reached Roorkee from Dehradun in his car at around 3:30 pm. After reaching the police station, he informed the police about the entire incident.

He was shocked to see the condition inside the house

When he reached his house, he was shocked to see the scene inside the house. He saw that the locks of all the doors inside the house were broken. The items kept in the cupboard in the house were scattered. Along with this, cash worth 30 thousand and jewelry worth lakhs kept in the house were also missing. The police has started investigation on the basis of CCTV footage. The police has claimed that it will identify the accused and soon reveal the theft incident.
