In Haryana Internet shut down, drone surveillance, 2000 soldiers deployed… Traffic advisory issued regarding Braj Mandal Yatra in Nuh

Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra will be taken out in Nuh, Haryana on Monday. In view of this, the Home Department of the Haryana Government has taken several precautionary steps keeping in mind the security situation. According to the orders issued by the Home Department, internet services will be banned for 24 hours from 6 pm today. Also, keeping in mind the security arrangements, a close watch will be kept from sky to ground. Nuh Police has also issued a special advisory for heavy vehicle drivers.

Internet services will remain closed during the Braj Mandal Yatra in Nuh. The Home Department has ordered a ban on the Internet from 6 pm on July 21 to 6 pm on July 22. During this time, bulk message services will also be banned.

2000 jawans deployed to maintain security

The Home Department has deployed 2000 police officers and employees as well as paramilitary forces to maintain security and deal with any unpleasant situation. Also, the journey will be monitored by drones.

Along with this, a search operation will be conducted by the Haryana Police Commandos in the Aravalli Mountains and apart from the dog squad, horse police will also be deployed at different places in the district.

Heavy vehicles will be banned on Gurugram-Alwar National Highway

According to the orders of the Home Department, heavy vehicles will be banned during the journey on Gurugram-Alwar National Highway 248A. An advisory has been issued regarding this. Nuh Police has issued an advisory for 22nd July, according to which, heavy vehicles going from Alwar to Sohna/Gurugram have been asked to go from Ambedkar Chowk of Ferozepur Jhirka via Mumbai Expressway to Sohna/Gurugram via KMP Rewasan. On the other hand, advisory has been issued to heavy vehicles going from Sohna/Gurugram towards Alwar to go from KMP Rewasan via Mumbai Expressway to Ambedkar Chowk Ferozepur Jhirka towards Alwar.

According to Nuh Police, heavy vehicles going from Tawadu to Alwar should go from KMP Rewasan via Mumbai Expressway to Ambedkar Chowk Ferozepur Jhirka towards Alwar. Also, heavy vehicles going from Palwal, Hodal and Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh) to Alwar should go from KMP Mumbai Expressway to Ambedkar Chowk Ferozepur Jhirka towards Alwar.

Entry of heavy vehicles will be prohibited during the Yatra

Also, Nuh Police has said in its advisory that heavy vehicles which have to go to Nuh from Palwal, Hodal and Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh) should come to Nuh only after the completion of Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra. For heavy vehicles which have to come to Nuh from Jaipur, an advisory has been issued to come to Nuh after the completion of the Yatra via KMP Rewasan from Mumbai Expressway.

Nuh Police has asked heavy vehicles coming to Nuh from Punhana, Nuh from Gurugram and Nuh from Tawadu to come to Nuh only after the completion of Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra. According to the advisory, entry of heavy vehicles in Nuh district will be prohibited during Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra.

5 people died during Nuh violence last year

It is worth noting that last year there was a ruckus in Nuh during the Braj Mandal Yatra. Five people including two home guards were killed and many others were injured in the violence that broke out on July 31. This violence also spread to other areas of the state.
