In the all-party meeting, JDU demanded special state status for Bihar

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju held a meeting with the leaders of all political parties in both the houses of Parliament before the budget session. Many leaders of the opposition also attended this meeting. The monsoon session of Parliament is starting from Monday.
JDU demanded special state status for Bihar in the all-party meeting before the Parliament session. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has given this information. He said that the YSRCP leader demanded special state status for Andhra Pradesh in the all-party meeting. TDP leaders remained silent on this matter.
In the first Parliament session after the formation of the 18th Lok Sabha, the opposition alliance ‘India’ i.e. ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (I-N-D-I-A) had raised issues like the situation in Manipur and inflation apart from the NEET controversy. The opposition raised slogans and created a ruckus on these issues, due to which the proceedings of both the houses were disrupted.
What issues will Congress raise in Parliament
Congress MP Pramod Tiwari said that the biggest issue is that the BJP-led NDA government is on crutches. It is trying to kill the Constitution, its values and traditions. The way the statue of Constitution maker BR Ambedkar has been removed is not right. Constitutional agencies are being misused. Unemployment and inflation are increasing not due to the policies of the government but under the protection of the government.
He said that the way the army and security forces are being attacked in sensitive areas of Jammu and Kashmir. It shows the failure of the government. The sacrifices of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi are being disrespected. There are many such issues which are related to the people. We will raise all these issues in Parliament.
These leaders were present in the meeting
Leaders of various political parties including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP President JP Nadda, Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi and Union Minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan attended the all-party meeting. Apart from Congress’s Jairam Ramesh and K Suresh, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM)’s Asaduddin Owaisi, RJD’s Abhay Kushwaha, JDU’s Sanjay Jha, AAP’s Sanjay Singh, SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP)’s Praful Patel were also present in this traditional meeting.
