Open game of fake certificates in UPSC, investigation started against 4 IAS officers

After the controversy of Maharashtra’s famous trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar, the Pandora’s box of using disability certificate for the country’s most prestigious jobs (IAS/IPS) has started opening. The Gujarat government has started an investigation against four IAS officers of the state at its own level. All these officers of Gujarat cadre have obtained IAS quota through disability certificate. These include three junior and one senior level officer. After the Pooja Khedkar controversy, the Gujarat government is being very cautious in this matter. It is said that the Chief Minister’s Office has given instructions not to leave any doubt in the investigation started by the General Administration Department of the government. After the preliminary investigation, these four officers were shortlisted. Now their disability certificates are being investigated.
