Uttarakhand: CM Dhami planted a tree with his mother, said- the first guru in a person’s life is his mother

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, on Sunday, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami planted a tree with his mother under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. The Chief Minister said that mother is the first guru of a person in life. In such a situation, it is no less than a good fortune to be a part of the plantation campaign in the name of mother.

A tree plantation program was organized on Sunday under the aegis of Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority on the vacant land on the banks of Rispana river at Gangotri Vihar on Canal Road. On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami planted a tree in the name of his mother Bishna Devi. His mother was also present on this occasion.

Plant a tree in the name of mother in monsoon season

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that on the occasion of World Environment Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed to the countrymen to plant ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’. It has been taken as a campaign in the state. The Chief Minister has appealed to all the people of the state to plant a tree in the name of mother this monsoon season.

Mother is the first guru in a person’s life

CM Dhami said that mother is the first guru in everyone’s life. He also wished the people of the state on Guru Purnima. CM Dhami said that a massive tree plantation campaign is being run in the state from Harela festival to August 15. Social organizations, people working in the field of environment, self-help groups have also been linked to this campaign. A tree plantation campaign is being run at the gram panchayat level from the state.
