Uttarakhand: Major accident on Kedarnath walking route, three died due to debris, many still buried under the debris

A major accident took place on the Kedarnath walking route on Sunday morning. Due to the debris, three pilgrims died near Chirbasa. While five pilgrims were seriously injured. CM Dhami has expressed grief over the accident.

Major accident on Kedarnath walking route

In the early hours of Sunday, debris suddenly came from the hill near Chirbasa on the Gaurikund-Kedarnath walking route. Three pilgrims died due to being hit by the debris. While five pilgrims were injured. Along with this, it is feared that many pilgrims are still buried under the debris.

Relief and rescue work continues

According to the information received, the incident happened around 7 am on Sunday. The police administration team is present on the spot since the information of the incident was received. Relief and rescue work is still going on.
