Three IAS officers transferred in Uttar Pradesh, 50 COs will become ASP, meeting will be held
The state government transferred three IAS officers on Monday. Manoj Kumar RFC Moradabad, a 2012 batch officer, has been made Additional Commissioner Bareilly Division. Shailesh Kumar, Vice President Moradabad Development Authority, a 2016 batch officer, has also been given additional charge of RFC. Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Mishra, a 2009 batch officer, has been made Joint Election Commissioner Lucknow from Special Secretary Backward Class Welfare.
50 COs will become ASP in DPC meeting
Officers of Provincial Police Service (PPS) cadre will get promotion soon. The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting of PPS cadre will be held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh. DGP Prashant Kumar and other officers will also be present in the meeting.
In the meeting, the names of Deputy Superintendents of Police in seniority order will be considered for promotion to the vacant posts of ASP. According to sources, about 50 Deputy Superintendents of Police will get promotion, out of which most officers will be from 2008 batch.
SP delegation will go to Gonda
State Bureau, Lucknow. On the instructions of Samajwadi Party’s national president Akhilesh Yadav, a delegation will go to Gonda on Tuesday. The delegation will investigate the murder of Samajwadi Party’s councilor candidate Om Prakash Singh of Nagar Panchayat Parsapur of Karnailganj. It will also meet the bereaved family.
