Israeli army attacks Khan Younis area of South Gaza; 70 people killed, more than 200 injured
The conflict between Israel and Hamaz has been going on for the last one year. Meanwhile, Israel attacked Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, killing 70 people. More than 200 people died in this attack. The Health Ministry of Hamas-controlled Gaza gave this information. The army warned that they would take forceful action in this area. The warning given by the army affected the eastern Khan Younis of the Al Mawasi humanitarian area in South Gaza, due to which thousands of Palestinians had to flee from this area.

Attacks were carried out several times in Khan Younis earlier this year. The latest incident came nine days after the statement of the Ministry of Health, in which they said that 92 people were killed in the attack in Al-Mawasi. Israel said that they were targeting the Hamas commander. Israel vowed to completely destroy Hamas. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is under constant pressure regarding ceasefire and release of hostages.
Netanyahu will meet US President Joe Biden. Biden is constantly talking to the Israeli President about ceasefire. On October 7 last year, Hamas terrorists attacked Israel. Nine months after this attack, the conflict between Israel and Hamas continues. In June this year, Netanyahu said that the war is in its acute phase and is about to end.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said, “Attacks have been taking place in Khan Younis area since this morning. 70 people were killed in this attack, while more than 200 were injured.” The Israeli army did not comment on the death toll. However, in a statement, the army said that their fighter jets and tanks attacked and wiped out terrorist hideouts in the area. The statement said that the army attacked more than 30 terrorist hideouts in Khan Younis. The Israeli army also targeted weapons storage facilities, tunnel shafts and structures used by Hamas terrorists.
The conflict has been going on for a year
Let us tell you that on October 7 last year, Hamas terrorists attacked southern Israel, in which 1,197 people were killed. Most of those killed were Israeli citizens. The terrorists took 251 people hostage and brought them to Gaza. The Israeli army says that 116 hostages are still in Gaza, while 44 have died. In retaliation to this attack, the Israeli army attacked Gaza and destroyed the infrastructure of the area. 39,000 people of Gaza were killed in this attack.
