He said that through this special package, the damage caused by disasters in the state will not be able to hinder the pace of development of the state.
The Chief Minister said that the Central Government has included 9 priorities for developed India in the budget, which will prove effective in empowering the overall development of India. He said that this budget will work to bring prosperity in the life of the common man.
The Chief Minister has expressed his gratitude to the Central Government for the launch of the fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). The Chief Minister said that
Phase four of PMGSY will be started to provide all-weather connectivity to 25,000 rural areas to provide better connectivity to rural areas. The Chief Minister said that this decision of the Central Government will further strengthen road connectivity in the rural areas of Uttarakhand.
Standard deduction increased from 50 thousand to 75 thousand
The Chief Minister said that government employees and pensioners will get relief by increasing the standard deduction from 50 thousand to 75 thousand in the new tax system. He said that in the general budget, it has been announced to build 12 new industrial parks across the country. He said that in the Global Invest Summit held in Uttarakhand last year, investment agreements worth more than three and a half lakh crores have been signed. In such a situation, Uttarakhand is also expected to benefit from the construction of industrial parks.
Focus on employment, skilling, MSME, middle class
The Chief Minister said that the budget of the Central Government is focused on the poor, women, youth and farmers. He said that employment, skilling, MSME, middle class have been specially included in the budget theme. The Chief Minister said that a provision has been made in the budget to provide additional assistance by the Central Government regarding the loss caused by landslides and excessive rains in Uttarakhand. He said that solar energy has been encouraged in the budget under the PM Suryaghar Yojana. With this, the remote areas of the state will definitely get its benefit.
Loan up to ₹ 10 lakh to students for higher education
The Chief Minister said that important points are included for the youth under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that a provision has been made to give a loan of up to ₹ 10 lakh to students for higher education in domestic institutions. Under the skill loan, a loan of up to 7.5 lakh has now been arranged. Along with this, the Central Government has announced the minimum support price on the main crops.
People registering for the first time will get a help of Rs 15,000
The Chief Minister said that the Central Government will provide a help of Rs 15,000 in three installments to those who are registering for the first time in EPFO, if their salary is less than Rs 1 lakh for the first time job. Along with this, those who are not getting any benefit under government schemes under education loan will get loan for admission in institutions across the country. The government will give up to 3 percent of the loan money. For this, e-vouchers will be introduced, which will be given to one lakh students every year.
