Uttarakhand: Orders issued for holiday in schools in this district till August 2
In view of the Kanwar fair, all government, non-government schools and Anganwadi centers will remain closed in Haridwar district from July 27 to August 2. Haridwar DM Dhiraj Singh Garbyal has issued orders for this. Strict action will be taken against those who violate the order.
It is worth noting that the Kanwar fair has started in Haridwar from July 22. A large number of Shiva devotees are reaching Haridwar to take Gangajal. It is expected that this time more than five crore Kanwariyas will come to Haridwar to take Gangajal in the Haridwar Kanwar fair.
There is a possibility of even more crowd of Kanwariyas from July 27. In view of which the Haridwar district administration has taken this decision. DM Haridwar said that due to the large crowd of Kanwar pilgrims, highways and other routes will be diverted.
He said that this decision has also been taken by the district administration in view of security. Due to the heavy crowd of Kanwariyas, there may be a situation of jam on the highway and other places. In such a situation, this decision has been taken so that the children going to school do not face any kind of problem.
