Uttarakhand: CM Dhami inaugurated the SCERT building, honored the schools giving excellent results, gave a surprise to the school toppers
Along with improving the education system in Uttarakhand, the government every year honors the students who perform well in high school and intermediate. In this sequence, ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay State Educational Excellence Award Distribution Ceremony 2024’ was organized in the Education Department office on Wednesday. During the organized program, CM Dhami honored all the students and principals of the state. Along with this, the newly constructed building and hostel of the State Council of Educational Research and Training was inaugurated and 442 smart class rooms were also started in all government schools.
In the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay State Educational Excellence Award Distribution Ceremony, the top three schools giving the highest examination results at the 12th level in the year 2024 were honored. In the same sequence, the top three schools giving the highest examination results at the 10th level were also honored. Along with this, a total of 21 students who secured first to ten positions across the state in the high school examination held in the year 2024 and a total of 23 students who secured first to ten positions across the state in the intermediate examination were honored.
In the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay State Educational Excellence Award Distribution Ceremony, the top three schools giving the highest results at the 10th and 12th level in the year 2023 were honored for giving the highest results. Along with this, a total of 13 students who secured first to five positions across the state in the high school examination held in the year 2023 and a total of 6 students who secured first to five positions across the state in the intermediate examination were honored.
During the program, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that today is a very important day for the Uttarakhand education system. Also, congratulations to all those who are working as a group to enhance education. The CM said that by honoring people, it feels like they are being honored themselves. This honor is the result of the hard work of the children. Better infrastructure is needed for a better education system. For this, the Education Minister has got the budget approved from the Government of India for all the works.
CM Dhami said that to improve the education system, 442 smart classes are being started in all the schools of the state. Which will greatly benefit the students. The top five students of high school and intermediate of the state will be taken on a country tour. The identified 529 schools of the state will be developed under the Cluster of Excellence. The CM told the teachers that along with giving education to the children, they should also give knowledge of moral education. The CM said that on one hand, this honor will inspire the students and on the other hand they will be able to work better in their lifetime.
