Uttarakhand: The opposition called the budget disappointing, CM Dhami said- Congress sees disappointment everywhere
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami targeted Congress for calling the central government’s budget disappointing. Said, those who have disappointment in their hearts will see disappointment everywhere. Said, India is becoming the leader of the world today, India is becoming the one that gives direction to the world. The whole world is respecting India, but Congress is trying to show itself as a world champion by winning 99 out of 543 seats.
Said, keeping the development of the country as a priority in the Union Budget, a budget has been presented to ensure all-round prosperity and a strong path to developed India. The budget is going to fulfill the interests of all sections including youth, farmers, women power and students. The Chief Minister mentioned the main provisions made in the budget.
Said, government employees and pensioners will get relief by increasing the standard deduction from 50 thousand to 75 thousand in the new tax system. Said, in the general budget, it has been announced to build 12 new industrial parks across the country. Investment agreements worth more than three and a half lakh crores have been signed in the Global Invest Summit held in Uttarakhand last year. In such a situation, Uttarakhand is also expected to benefit from the construction of industrial parks.
Employment opportunities will increase, middle class will benefit
Said, the budget of the central government is focused on the poor, women, youth and farmers. The budget theme focuses on employment, skilling, MSME. The middle class has been specially included in this. Solar energy has been encouraged under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana in the budget. With this, the remote areas of the state will get its definite benefit.
Loan up to 10 lakhs to students for higher education
Said, a provision has been made to give a loan of up to Rs 10 lakh to students for higher education in domestic institutions. Under the skill loan, a loan of up to 7.5 lakhs has now been arranged. Said, for those with a first job with a salary of less than Rs 1 lakh, people registering for the first time in the Employees Provident Fund will get a help of Rs 15 thousand in three installments. Along with this, under the education loan, those who are not getting any benefit under government schemes will get a loan for admission in institutions across the country. The government will provide up to three percent of the loan amount.
