The biggest Kanwar camp is set up in Delhi, what facilities are being provided?
The country’s largest Kanwar camp has been set up at Kashmiri Gate, making arrangements for the stay of 20 thousand people in Delhi. Atishi, a minister in the Delhi government, visited the Kanwar camp and took stock of the preparations.

During this, Atishi has also instructed the administration to be vigilant about the safety and facilities of the Kanwariyas during the Kanwar Yatra. The minister informed that the camp has separate halls for male and female Kanwariyas. There is a huge dining hall to receive prasad. 185 Kanwar camps have been set up across Delhi where there are facilities like waterproof tents, sleeping arrangements, clean water and toilets etc. In all the camps, the minister said that medical personnel will be present round the clock so that immediate treatment can be provided to the Kanwariyas if needed.
Kanwar Yatra started from 22 July
Along with this, Minister Atishi informed that local medical stores have been linked to the camps and CAT ambulances have also been deployed for emergency. Let us tell you that the Kanwar Yatra has started with the month of Sawan from 22nd July and will conclude on 2nd August. A large number of Kanwariyas will reach Delhi.
