UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam dates announced
The dates of UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam have been announced. The State Police Recruitment and Promotion Board will conduct the written examination for Direct Recruitment-2023 for 60,244 posts of Constable Civil Police on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August 2024. This examination will be conducted in two shifts every day. About 5 lakh candidates will appear in this examination in each shift.
In a release issued by the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, it was told that this examination was canceled earlier. It was directed by the Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh that this examination should be conducted again within six months.
It was told that in order to conduct the selection process in a transparent manner, detailed guidelines have been issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 19 June 2024 for various arrangements related to the examination such as preparation of examination, selection of examination centers, verification of candidates etc. This examination is being conducted according to all these standards.
Information was given in the release, “It is noteworthy that Uttar Pradesh Government has notified Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Ordinance-2024 (Uttar Pradesh Ordinance No. 6, 2024) dated 01 July, 2024 to prevent unfair means in public examinations, such as leakage of question papers, tampering with answer sheets etc., this Act provides that under this Act, using unfair means in the examination, copying or causing copying, impersonating or revealing or conspiring to reveal the question paper etc. come under the category of crime, which is punishable under this Act. In such cases, there can be a fine of up to one crore and punishment up to life imprisonment, both.”
Gap given in the examination due to Janmashtami
It was told that the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board will conduct the written examination for direct recruitment 2023 for 60244 posts of constable civil police on the above mentioned dates. The gap has been given in the examination due to Janmashtami festival. This examination will be conducted in two shifts daily on the said dates and about 5 lakh candidates will appear in this examination in each shift.
Candidates will get free bus service
Candidates appearing in the examination will have the facility of free bus service of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. Candidates can take advantage of this as per their convenience, for which the candidates traveling by bus will have to download two additional copies of their admit card and one copy of it will have to be presented to the bus conductor for the journey to the district of the examination center and the other copy for the journey to their district after the examination.
