Ropeway operation will remain closed for two weeks in Nainital

The ropeway in Nainital is operated by Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam. The ropeway will remain closed for the next two weeks. The work of changing the rope will be started from Friday. Due to which the ropeway will remain closed for the next 14 days. During this time tourists will not be able to take advantage of this facility.

Tourists will not be able to visit the ropeway

Due to the ropeway being closed due to the ropeway replacement work, tourists will not be able to visit the ropeway for the next two weeks. Citing the order of Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam MD Dr. Sandeep Tiwari, ropeway manager Shivam Sharma has said that the rope is changed every five to six years. The rope was changed before this as well. The rope changing work was done in the year 2018.
