Srinagar Police has revealed a big incident. The accused who termed the murder of his wife as suicide has been arrested by the police from Pauri. Here, first the husband brutally hit his wife with a bat, then strangled her and hung the body from a noose. The truth came out only after the son of the deceased testified about the whole matter.
Wife’s murder was shown as suicide
Let us tell you that on June 30, the accused Rajesh Kumar, the husband of the deceased, informed the Srinagar Police about the suicide. During this time, Rajesh Kumar and his three children were also present in the room. When the police reached the spot, the body of the deceased was hanging from a noose. Prima facie, this case seemed like a suicide. The accused tried to mislead the police and the family of the deceased. But the father of the deceased suspected that his daughter was murdered. After which a case was registered in Kotwali Srinagar on July 4 and the police started investigating the case.
The son’s statement revealed
Srinagar Kotwal Hoshiyar Singh Pankholi said that the accused Rajesh Kumar informed the Kotwali police about his wife committing suicide on June 30. After which the police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. It was told that on July 4, the father of the deceased registered a case in Kotwali Srinagar regarding the murder of his daughter by beating her.
The case was revealed from the statement of the deceased’s son. The deceased’s son stated that his father Rajesh Kumar hit his mother on the head with a bat and then strangled her to death. After that the mother’s body was hanged and murdered. After which the police arrested the accused from Pauri Garhwal.
