Let us tell you that a shocking case came to light from Haridwar in the midst of the Kanwar Yatra. On Friday, the mosques on the Kanwar route were covered with curtains. Later it was revealed that the mosques were covered with curtains only after the order of the Uttarakhand government.
Curtains removed from outside mosques
Regarding the matter, the cabinet minister had given a statement that the mosques were covered with curtains so that the atmosphere does not deteriorate during the Kanwar Yatra. But by evening the administration took a U-turn. Two police personnel reached the spot and removed the curtains outside the mosque.
The administration did not have any answer
Let us tell you that the Kanwar fair was inaugurated on 22 July. This was the first time in history that a mosque and a tomb were covered with curtains during the Kanwar Yatra. There was anger among the people of the Muslim community after the mosque was covered. The administration was not even able to give a proper answer as to why the curtains were put up.
