‘Skill, research and innovation are necessary to build a developed India…’, said PM Modi in the meeting of NITI Aayog

The 9th meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog was held today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this important meeting, PM Modi said that Developed India 2047 is the ambition of every Indian. States can play an active role in achieving this goal, as they are directly connected to the people. In the NITI Aayog meeting, PM Modi said that this decade is also a decade of changes, technological and geopolitical, and opportunities.
The Prime Minister said that India should take advantage of these opportunities and make its policies conducive to international investment. This is a step of progress towards making India a developed nation. The PM said that we are moving in the right direction. We have defeated a pandemic that comes once in 100 years. Our people are full of enthusiasm and confidence. We can fulfill our dreams of Developed India 2047 with the joint efforts of all the states.
In the NITI Aayog meeting, Prime Minister Modi said that India is a young country. It is a big attraction for the whole world due to its workforce. We should aim to make our youth a skilled and employable workforce. To build a developed India, it is necessary to focus on skill, research, innovation and job-based knowledge.
Let us tell you that NITI Aayog is the highest public policy think tank of the Center, which is headed by the Prime Minister and includes the Chief Ministers of all the states, Lieutenant Governors of many Union Territories and many Union Ministers.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and many opposition Chief Ministers did not attend this meeting held on Saturday. At the same time, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee attended the meeting, but she walked out of the meeting alleging that her mic was muted when she raised the issue of West Bengal being deprived of central funds. But government sources refuted her claim and said that her time to speak was over and her turn was to come after lunch.
