Many important guidelines have been issued for higher educational institutions in Uttarakhand. Higher Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, while holding a meeting, has instructed colleges and universities to install solar panels in their campuses. So that it can be used in other important work while reducing electricity expenses.
During the review meeting of the Higher Education Department, guidelines have been issued for various educational institutions. During this, to bring the concept of green campus to the ground, instructions have been given to the officials of the department to install solar panels in all colleges and universities along with their campuses. For this, the officials have been asked to conduct a survey as soon as possible and make a detailed action plan for it. Higher Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the campus will be made eco-friendly by installing solar rooftops in all educational institutions. It was also asked to remove the practical difficulties coming in admission to undergraduate and postgraduate classes through Samarth Portal as soon as possible.
After this, the problems in the studies of the students will be removed. Postgraduate classes will also be conducted in the college. Higher Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that to promote quality education, instructions were also given to make it mandatory for colleges and universities to apply for NAAC and AIRF ranking. Investment Minister Dhan Singh Rawat also gave instructions to provide all facilities related to furniture, sports equipment, computers, smart class, laboratory and toilets in colleges and universities.
