Uttarakhand: Nodal officers will be appointed to resolve the problems of freedom fighters

Nodal officers will now be appointed at the tehsil level to resolve the problems of freedom fighters in Uttarakhand. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has instructed the District Magistrate to take immediate action in this regard. During this, the Chief Secretary has also given instructions to honor the freedom fighters in all government programs.
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has issued instructions to the officials to resolve the problems of freedom fighters in Uttarakhand. Radha Raturi has also instructed all the District Magistrates to hold a meeting with the freedom fighters of the district. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has asked to appoint nodal officers at the tehsil level for the problems of freedom fighters, so that the problems can be resolved quickly. During this, it has also been asked to keep the names of freedom fighters and their mobile numbers in the record at the tehsil level and make them available to the government as soon as possible.
The Chief Secretary has also asked to honour the freedom fighters in all the government programmes held in the state. Actually, there are many problems of freedom fighters in Uttarakhand and the officers have been asked to take immediate action to solve these problems. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi held a meeting with freedom fighters and their successors in the Secretariat. The Chief Secretary took information about the problems of the freedom fighters present in the meeting and asked the officers to solve them. The special thing is that during the meeting, the Chamoli District Magistrate was also praised for doing better work.
A proposal has also been made regarding the allocation of land to freedom fighters. In this, land has been made available in Dehradun, but work is yet to be done on land for them at the rest of the district level. It has also been said that the cases related to naming of roads and crossings and installation of Silpat in the memory of freedom fighters should also be resolved on top priority basis.
