MP Anil Baluni said in the Parliament that PM Modi’s 10-year tenure has been a tenure of achievements. MP Baluni said that 10 years of Prime Minister Modi were golden period for Uttarakhand. Till now Uttarakhand has got gifts like two Vande Bharat Express, Naini Doon Express, Tanakpur to Delhi Jan Shatabdi Express and Kotdwar to Delhi Siddhbali Express. Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line will also be inaugurated in the coming 2026. Now trains will run fast on mountains too. This rail line will benefit the people of Garhwal as well as tourists and devotees from India and abroad.

He said that Uttarakhand has been allocated a budget of Rs 5100 crore for railway development.
