Uttarakhand: After Rahul Gandhi’s appeal, Congress postponed Kedarnath Bachao Yatra, BJP took a jibe

In view of the disaster in Kedarnath due to heavy rains, Congress has postponed the Kedarnath Bachao Yatra. After the instructions of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Uttarakhand Congress state president Karan Mahara has announced the postponement of the yatra.

Congress postponed Kedarnath Bachao Yatra

Let us tell you that Congress started the Kedarnath Bachao Yatra from Haridwar on July 24 on the lines of Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in protest against the construction of Kedarnath in Burari, Delhi. This yatra is very important for the Congress. But due to the disaster in Kedar Valley, after Rahul Gandhi’s appeal and instructions, state president Karan Mahara announced the postponement of the yatra. However, Mahara said that the yatra will start again from Sitapur when the situation becomes normal.

BJP took a dig at the postponement of Kedarnath Bachao Yatra

BJP has taken a dig at the postponement of Congress’s Kedarnath Bachao Yatra. BJP spokesperson Vinod Suyal has held Congress responsible for the disaster in Kedarnath. Suyal said that Congress was doing this yatra only for sightseeing. That is why the disaster happened during the yatra.
