Uttarakhand: Congress’s Kedarnath Raksha Yatra postponed due to disaster, BJP took a jibe, politics started with counter attack
After the appeal of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress’ Kedarnath Dham Pratishtha Raksha Yatra has been postponed from Sitapur. This yatra started from Haridwar Har Ki Pauri on 24th July under the leadership of party’s state president Karan Mahara. Today, on the tenth day, the yatra reached Sitapur in Rudraprayag district. Where the yatra was postponed due to the terrible disaster in Kedar Valley.
On the other hand, BJP described Congress’ Kedarnath Dham Pratishtha Raksha Yatra as a picnic. BJP state spokesperson Vinod Suyal said that Congress had definitely not gone on a yatra but on a picnic. During the Congress Jan Yatra, people were seen bathing in the swimming pools of big hotels. Congress leaders were enjoying in the name of yatra by taking the name of God. Anyway, there is already a Jyotirlinga of Lord Kedar all over the world. Even after that, the Congress party was using the words of saving the prestige of Kedarnath.
At the same time, Congress state general secretary Naveen Joshi has retorted on the comment made on the yatra. He said that BJP never took part in the Yatra, so BJP people do not know the importance of the Yatra. He said that Mahatma Gandhi did the biggest Yatra for the freedom of the country. After this, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi did Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir to give the message of unity in the country. Now Kedarnath Pratishtha Padyatra was taken out under the leadership of Uttarakhand party state president Karan Mahara. He said that due to the actions of BJP, disaster came in Kedarnath valley, which the people of the whole country are suffering. Everyone is suffering the punishment for the alleged theft of gold in Kedarnath Dham. He said that in view of the disaster, the Congress party’s Yatra had to be postponed. He said that the Yatra will start again in the coming time. The Yatra will conclude with Jal Abhishek and Puja Archana in Kedarnath Dham.
