Elephant terror has been seen in Dehradun. An elephant crushed a seven-year-old girl in Balawala, Raipur. The teenager’s family is inconsolable after the incident. Her mother has fainted after hearing the news of the girl’s death.

The incident happened on Friday. According to the information given by the police, Vivek Uniyal, resident of Bhagwan Das Chowk Balawala, informed on phone that an elephant has crushed a seven-year-old girl to death in Banswara forest in Balawala. Raipur police immediately reached the spot on receiving the information.
Police took the girl’s body in custody
Investigation revealed that the seven-year-old daughter of Lochan Rishi Dev, son of Dhora Rishi Dev, a native of Bihar, who lives on rent on the outskirts of Banswara forest, had gone to the forest in the afternoon with other children of the family. Where the elephant crushed the girl to death. The forest department team has also reached the spot. The police has taken the body of the deceased into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
