Uttarakhand: Dhami increased the construction amount for Panchayat buildings, from 10 lakh to 20 lakh, 5 villages in each development block should be made Adarsh ​​Gram

For the planned development of villages, work should be done towards making 5-5 villages in each development block as ideal villages. The names of 10 villages of Uttarakhand should also be included in the category of top 100 ideal villages of the country, for this, work should be done in a planned manner for the overall development of the villages. Senior officials of the government and District Magistrates in the districts should participate in the organization of Gram Chaupal and work should be done on the development plans of the villages by sitting with the enlightened people of the Gram Panchayats. The foundation day of Gram Sabhas should be celebrated as a festival, in which the migrant people of those villages should be specially made participants to participate. This was said by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami during the review of the Panchayati Raj Department in the Secretariat on Friday.

The Chief Minister directed the officials in the meeting that the Panchayat buildings should be constructed by setting standards. Whatever Panchayat buildings are being constructed in the Gram Panchayats, they should be built in the mountain style, which should reflect the heritage of Uttarakhand. Appropriate sites should be selected for Panchayat buildings, so that they can be fully utilized in the Gram Panchayats. The Chief Minister directed to increase the amount of Rs 10 lakh approved by the state government for the construction of Panchayat buildings to Rs 20 lakh. Drains should also be constructed while constructing roads in villages, so that there is no problem of water drainage. Arrangements for open gyms and parks should be ensured in the Gram Panchayats. The Chief Minister directed that gates, schools and Panchayat buildings in the villages should be named after the martyrs of the army and paramilitary forces and arrangements should be made to inscribe the names of the martyrs on plaques in the villages.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to use the funds received by the state from the 15th Finance Commission for the development of villages in a planned manner. Special attention should be paid to cleanliness and garbage disposal. He said that it should be ensured that whatever schemes are made for the development of villages, they should first be evaluated on the ground. Computers and high speed internet connectivity should be arranged in all the Gram Panchayats.

Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj said that along with the development of villages, employment should be promoted in rural areas. Senior officers should regularly monitor the works being done in the Gram Panchayats. He directed to do GIS mapping of the assets of all the Panchayats. He said that before the construction of multi-level parking, it should be ensured that they are properly used and maintained. He said that with the funds received from the 15th Finance Commission, work should be done speedily according to the standards set for the development of villages.

Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary R. K. Sudhanshu, Secretary Panchayati Raj Chandresh Yadav, Additional Secretary Alok Kumar Pandey, Director Panchayati Raj Nidhi Yadav, Director Setu Dr. Manoj Pant were present in the meeting.

He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
