Ankita Bhandari murder case: Supreme Court gives big blow to Pulkit Arya, case transfer petition rejected
The Supreme Court has given a big decision in the Ankita Bhandari murder case. The Supreme Court has rejected the petition of Pulkit Arya, the main accused in the Ankita Bhandari murder case. Pulkit Arya had demanded the transfer of the case from Kotdwar Court. While hearing the case, the Chief Justice of India (CJI) said that the crime is very serious. The hearing of the case should be completed soon. Ankita, who worked at Vanantara Resort, was murdered in September 2022.
What was Ankita murder case
It is worth noting that Ankita Bhandari, a resident of Srikot Dobh in Pauri district, used to work as a receptionist at Vanantra Resort in Yamkeshwar. Who suddenly went missing from the resort on 18 September 2022. After this, Pulkit Arya, the owner of Vanantra Resort, filed a missing report of Ankita to mislead her family. After this, Ankita’s body was recovered from Cheela Canal on 24 September.
At the same time, Vanantra Resort owner Pulkit Arya, Ankit Gupta and Saurabh Bhaskar are accused of pushing Ankita into the Cheela canal. Due to which Ankita died. Apart from this, Pulkit is also accused of wanting Ankita to do wrong things in the resort, which Ankita flatly refused. Which is believed to be the reason for Ankita’s death. The hearing in this entire case is going on continuously.
