Heavy rain expected in Uttarakhand for 4 days… Monsoon becomes a disaster

The monsoon rains have started once again in the hilly areas from Delhi-NCR. This time the monsoon rains in the mountains have not brought relief but disaster. Due to rain in the hilly and plain districts of Uttarakhand, waterlogging and flood like conditions have been created. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for some areas of Uttarakhand. At the same time, an orange alert has been issued for heavy rain for Uttarkashi district.
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in the hilly districts of the state from 3 to 6 August. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for 4 days. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Chamoli and Bageshwar districts tomorrow. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert here.
Rain havoc continues in the mountains
Haridwar and Dehradun also received heavy rains due to which the truck of Kanwariyas was washed away due to sudden flow of water in the dry river in Haridwar. Fortunately, there was no Kanwariya in it. Due to heavy rains in Chamoli and Pithoragarh districts, the water level of the rivers increased due to which they were seen moving towards the settlements. 27 roads were closed due to the landslides in Pithoragarh district and 27 roads in Nainital district were blocked.
