Uttarakhand: In Haldwani, CM Dhami said- with the help of the center, the damaged road and bridges in Kedarnath will be rebuilt

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami says that with the help of the central government, the work of reconstruction of roads and bridges damaged by the disaster in the Kedarnath area will be started soon. He said that so far more than 12000 pilgrims have been taken to safe places. If the weather cooperates, then in the next one or two days, the pilgrims stranded at different places will also be taken to safe places.
Dhami was talking to the print media at the Circuit House in Kathgodam here on Saturday. He said that due to rain and heavy rains in Kedarnath, roads and bridges are broken at nine to ten places. At one place 150 meters of road has been washed away. Told that in this regard he has talked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. Soon with the help of the central government, the damaged roads and bridges will be repaired. Said that two MI 17 helicopters and Chinku aircraft have been received from the Center. Apart from this, six helicopters of the state government are also engaged in relief and rescue work there.
He said that the government is trying to restore road, connectivity, drinking water, electricity and communication services in the area soon. Work is also being done in this direction. He said that so far 15 people have lost their lives in disaster incidents at different places in the state. The state government is with the affected families and will help them in every possible way.
On the question asked about the reduction of four ministers in the cabinet and cabinet expansion, Dhami said that talks are going on regarding cabinet expansion. Regarding the allegations being leveled on the government by the Congress, Dhami said that we are the people of Devbhoomi and Devbhoomi has its own form. We believe in religion and karma and are working on that basis. On the poor condition of health services in Kumaon division, the Chief Minister said that the government is working towards improving health services. These are years old requirements and it takes time to create a system. He said that the government’s intention is clear and the intention is clear. On being asked about the big projects of Haldwani which are pending for many years, Dhami said that Jamrani Dam project has been approved.
The central government has approved the Kainchi bypass which will be completed before 15 June next year. Cancer Institute has also got the green signal from the central government. State Minister Dr. Anil Dabbu and Dhruv Rautla were present during the talks.
