Alert in Uttarakhand after the coup in Bangladesh, checking on the border with Nepal; Police and intelligence agencies engaged

After the coup in Bangladesh, Udham Singh Nagar police is on high alert. Police along with SSB jointly conducted checking on Nepal border adjacent to Khatima and Jhankaiiya police station. Suspects were questioned.

Apart from this, police is working on every input related to suspected Bangladeshis. In Udham Singh Nagar too, many Bangladeshis have been caught in the past, who were later sent back to Bangladesh by police and intelligence agency. Here, in view of the current situation, SSB has been deployed on the border due to the possibility of Bangladeshis infiltrating into India.
