Chennai Express was Rohit Shetty’s film in which he tried his luck for the first time with an actor other than Ajay Devgan. Chennai Express was released on 8 August 2013. Apart from Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Shahrukh Khan, Niketan Dheer and Sathyaraj were in the lead roles in the film.
