Here we are talking about Rohit Shetty and Shahrukh Khan’s 2013 film Chennai Express. Chennai Express was Rohit Shetty’s film in which he tried his luck for the first time with an actor other than Ajay Devgan. Chennai Express was released on 8 August 2013. Apart from Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Shahrukh Khan, Niketan Dheer and Sathyaraj were in the lead roles in the film. The film had music by Vishal-Shekhar and Yo Yo Honey Singh’s lungi dance made the whole country dance.

Chennai Express’s superhit song lungi dance

In Chennai Express, Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s pair appeared together on screen after six years. Both of them were earlier seen in Om Shanti Om in 2007. The title of Chennai Express was initially kept as Ready Steady Go. But it was later changed to Chennai Express. Interestingly, Goa’s Vasco da Gama railway station was shown as Mumbai’s Kalyan railway station in the film. Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Chennai Express was released with English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Hebrew, Dutch, Turkish and Malay subtitles.
