Students of government schools will get free benefit of the facilities of Doon Library and Research Center

Students of government schools can avail the facilities of Doon Library and Research Centre free of cost. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, while giving instructions to arrange free membership for students of all government schools in Doon Library and Research Centre (DLRC), has directed the District Magistrate Dehradun to immediately write a letter to the principals of all government schools in this regard.

While presiding over the 45th Governing Body meeting of Doon Library and Research Centre in the Secretariat, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has given instructions to ensure arrangements for dissemination of information about welfare schemes, self-employment schemes, start-up policy being run by the government for the youth along with the orientation program of competitive examinations in Doon Library and Research Centre. In today’s meeting, the Chief Secretary approved the demand for an amount of Rs 2.12 crore for the corpus fund of Doon Library and Research Centre.

District Magistrate Dehradun, Director of Doon Library and Research Centre N Ravishankar, Napchyal, BK Joshi and other officers were present in the meeting.
