Iranian army wants to directly attack Israel; President Pazhakian is not ready, said- We are lucky that Israel did not start a war last time
Tensions between Iran and Israel have increased since the death of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh. Meanwhile, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and President Masoud Pazashkian are unable to agree on the method of attack.
According to a report by British media The Telegraph, the Iranian army wants to directly attack Israel. The IRGC wants to target military bases in the capital Tel Aviv and other cities of Israel. At the same time, Iran’s new President Pazashkian wants to attack Israeli bases and Mossad bases in other Middle East countries such as Azerbaijan and Iraqi Kurdistan.
Apart from this, Pazashkian has also proposed to give better weapons to the Lebanese organization Hezbollah and support it in the attack on Israel. In fact, Pazashkian fears that Iran will have to bear the brunt of a direct attack on Israel.
Iranian army trying to show Pazashkian as weak
The president’s aide said, “Pazashkian said that we were lucky when Israel did not wage war against us last time. We should hope that the same will happen this time too.” Pazashkian’s aide told the Telegraph that the IRGC is opposing the president to show him as weak.
In fact, Pazashkian had won the presidential election by defeating Saeed Jalili. Jalili had the support of the IRGC. The final decision on how Israel will be attacked will be taken by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The army said – Khamenei asked to give severe punishment to Israel, will fulfill the order
On the other hand, the IRGC said that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had talked about giving severe punishment to Israel. We will definitely fulfill his order. On July 30, Hamas’s political chief Haniyeh, who had come to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Iran’s President Pazshkian, died. He was staying in the IRGC guest house itself.
Amid the fear of attack on Israel, Air India has canceled all its flights to Tel Aviv. Israel has asked its citizens to stock food and water amid the threat of Iranian attack. Hospitals have been instructed to be ready to shift patients to underground wards.
Earlier, there was tension between Iran and Israel in April. Actually, on April 1, Israel attacked near the Iranian embassy in Syria. Many officers including a top commander were killed in this. In response to this action of Israel, 12 days later on April 13, Iran attacked Israel with 300 missiles and drones. 6 days after this attack, Israel carried out an airstrike in Iran.
