A torn Bluetooth cable has been found in the seminar hall. It is said that Sanjay was arrested on the basis of that torn wire. Police is investigating whether there was someone else with Sanjay in the seminar hall on the night of the incident.

The CM expressed concern over the incident. Also, on Friday evening, he spoke to the mother of the deceased on the phone and assured all possible help from the state government. Also, the Chief Minister called upon the victim’s family to have faith in the state government. He assured that strict action will be taken against the accused. The accused will not be able to escape.
Police force deployed in RG Kar Hospital

These include Anirudh Bhattacharya, Dr. Rama Bera and Dr. Dev Kumar Mandal. Apart from Dr. Ranit Chakraborty of PGT second year, two trainees Dr. Niranjan Bagchi and Dr. Sharif Hasan have also been included.
