Uttarakhand: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami provided various financial approvals of Rs 644.97 lakh from NABARD funds
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved Rs 488.40 lakh for the renovation of the damaged Kadai Khala Gul in Bhopalpani of Raipur block of Dehradun district under NABARD, repair and reconstruction work of the head and culverts of the Thano main canal. At the same time, approval of 156.57 lakh has been given for the construction of a new tube well (sprinkler irrigation system) in Chharba Janglat village under Sahaspur block.
The Chief Minister has approved 463.16 lakh from NABARD fund for the restoration and renovation of the right Kho canal under Kotdwar area of Pauri Garhwal district, approval of a scheme of 175.54 lakh for the construction of lift irrigation scheme in village Lwali, approval of 126.68 lakh for the construction of Lipat irrigation scheme in village Paithani. The Chief Minister has approved Rs 452.26 lakh for the anti-soil erosion scheme from Datgad Nala in village Kimagadi of Pauri Garhwal district. Apart from this, Rs 107.70 lakh has been approved for the anti-soil erosion scheme from Kota Nala in village Kota under Ekeshwar and Rs 196.43 lakh has been approved for the anti-soil erosion scheme from Western Nyar River of Bagdsera Tok in Ekeshwar itself. From NABARD funds, approval of Rs 100.49 lakh has been given for the project of construction of sprinkler based number one belt lift irrigation scheme in Chaukhutia development block of Almora district and approval of Rs 217.31 lakh has been given for the project of renovation of Chhana canal of development block Dwarahat.
Similarly, approval of Rs 254.62 lakh has been given for the renovation of 12 mountain canals in Pokhari development block of Chamoli district. Approval of 180.81 lakh for lining work of Kichha Canal of development block Rudrapur of district Udham Singh Nagar, approval of 137.10 lakh for lining work of Sirsa Canal of development block Rudrapur, approval of 290 lakh for modernization and restoration work of Sisaiya Canal received from Uttar Pradesh state in Tehsil Sitarganj, approval of 212.51 lakh for modernization and restoration scheme of Chandeli Minor in Tehsil Khatima and approval of 162.58 lakh for restoration scheme of Canal number three, three-A, three-B in Tehsil Khatima has been given.
The Chief Minister has given his approval to works worth 488 lakh for protection of the population of trenching ground and Manpur Saini Farm Colony, Silver City Colony etc. from flood from Dhela river in Municipal Corporation Kashipur of district Udham Singh Nagar. Approval of 761.33 lakh has been given for the renovation of Lastar main canal and eight km damaged offshoots located in development block Jakholi of Rudraprayag district and construction of 10.214 km new offshoots through HDPE pipe from NABARD fund and 500.38 lakh has been approved for the construction of four lift irrigation schemes in Taila, Sumari, Tumeta and Sirwadi under development block Jakholi. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved financial approval of 795.69 lakh for the two and a half km long Bhimtal bypass motor road under the state plan in Bhimtal of Nainital district. At the same time, the Chief Minister has approved an amount of Rs 274.60 lakh for the installation of a total of 50 hand pumps in Haridwar (urban) assembly.
