On Saturday afternoon, a Bolero vehicle and a scooty collided fiercely near Chhoi on Ramnagar and Haldwani road. A young man riding a scooty died in the accident. It is being said that the Bolero vehicle involved in the accident belongs to a police officer. People present at the spot say that the speed of the Bolero vehicle was so fast that even its airbags opened.

Let us tell you that 19-year-old Arpit Pawar, a resident of Mohalla Indira Colony of Ramnagar, was returning to Ramnagar from Belpadab on a scooty with Wasim, a resident of Mohalla Khatari. Meanwhile, a Bolero vehicle collided with a scooter near Chhoi in which both the scooter riders were seriously injured. They were brought to the government hospital in Ramnagar for treatment where doctors declared Arpit Pawar dead.

After first aid, the injured Wasim has been referred to a higher center due to his critical condition. It is being told that Wasim was working on laying tiles in the house of the deceased Arpit. In this connection, both of them had gone to Bailpadav to get tiles.
The family members of the deceased alleged that the police personnel deployed in the Bolero vehicle were drunk. The local police did not even conduct a medical checkup of these police personnel, due to which the family members reached the hospital. Creating a ruckus in front of the police, they have demanded action along with getting a medical checkup of the police personnel riding in the Bolero vehicle.
