Uttarakhand: IMD has issued heavy rain alert for these districts, read the weather department forecast

Heavy rain is expected in most districts of Uttarakhand today. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for nine districts including Dehradun. While for two districts, a heavy rain warning has been issued and caution has been appealed.

IMD issued heavy rain alert for these districts

According to the forecast issued by the Director of Meteorological Department, Vikram Singh, there is a possibility of heavy rain along with lightning and thunder in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Tehri, Rudraprayag, Pauri Garhwal, Pithoragarh, Almora, Champawat, Nainital districts on Sunday. In view of which a yellow alert of rain has been issued in these districts. While there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in Chamoli and Bageshwar districts. Orange alert of rain has been issued in these districts.
