Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission released the update on 1544 posts of Assistant Teacher

The written competitive examination for 1544 posts of Assistant Teacher (LT) under the Secondary Education Department, Uttarakhand, advertised in Advertisement No. 58/U.S.S.A./2024, dated 14 March 2024 issued by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission, was conducted on 18 August 2024 from 11:00 am to 01:00 pm in 153 examination centers in all 13 districts of the state.
Like the previous examinations, the Commission also took extra caution and monitoring in this examination, for which every activity of the examination centers was monitored from the Commission Headquarters under the pilot project through live CCTV and AI technology in certain sensitive examination centers of the state.
About 51544 candidates were enrolled for the said written competitive examination, out of which about 45720 candidates appeared in the written examination. Thus, about 88.70 percent candidates appeared in the written examination. The said written examination related to the selection of the posts of Assistant Teacher (LT) was conducted
To ensure that the examination is conducted with transparency and fairness, the police department frisked each candidate and biometric attendance of all the candidates appearing in the written examination was recorded. The Commission also installed jammers in all the examination centres to restrict any kind of digital activities.
Till the time of issuing the press release, no information was received about any untoward incident or disturbance in this examination. For the successful conduct of this examination, the Commission thanks the centre superintendents of all the examination centres, all the officers/employees of the district/police administration, service providing agencies and Commission representatives.
