Uttarakhand: Brutality in bus: Driver uncle please help me…then five employees became monsters, screams of the teenager were suppressed in the dark night

In the dark night at the busiest ISBT of Dehradun, the girl had no idea that the driver uncle from whom she took help would turn into a monster. After travelling from Delhi to Dehradun, she reached ISBT and at midnight five monsters raped her in the bus itself. The girl screamed but nobody could hear her scream in the dark night.

On 12th August, when the girl asked the bus conductor Devendra for directions to Punjab from Delhi, his intentions became bad. The conductor along with the driver told the girl the route from Delhi to Dehradun and from Dehradun to Punjab and brought her to Dehradun.

When the bus reached Doon ISBT, after all the passengers had got off, the girl was still in the bus. Then the conductor and the driver raped the girl. The matter did not end here, after this the accused told other bus drivers and the cashier of the roadways, then all of them also raped the girl. The incident happened after 1 o’clock in the night, so not many people were present at the ISBT.

When the girl was at Kashmiri Gate in Delhi, Devendra, the conductor of the contracted bus of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, assured the girl that he would show her the right path. He brought her to Doon and then showed her the way forward from there. The girl also expressed faith in the driver uncle and sat in the bus. But the conductor and driver of the bus became monsters as soon as they reached Doon ISBT.

Rajesh Sonkar, the cashier of the Transport Corporation, who is accused in the gang rape case, did not even bother about the government treasury on the night of the incident. He was on duty in the cash room, he left the cash room and went to the bus where the gang rape incident was being carried out. Since then, he was continuously on duty in the cash room. On Saturday night, he was arrested by the police while on duty.

On the night of 12th August, Rajesh Sonkar, a regular conductor of the Transport Corporation, was on duty in the cash room. The conductors of the corporation’s buses used to bring cash and deposit it with him. His duty started with the bus at 10 pm and was to continue till 6 am.

Meanwhile, between 12 and 1 in the night, he left the cash room and went to the bus where the crime was committed. According to the Transport Corporation, the corporation administration was not aware of this incident, so he was continuously on duty. On the night of August 17, the police arrested him while on duty.
