19 year old nursing student raped in Maharashtra, auto driver gave her intoxicants and committed brutality, SIT will investigate
A shocking case of rape of a 19-year-old nursing student has come to light in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. It is being told that the driver of the auto rickshaw in which the victim girl was going to her home raped her. Police is searching for the accused rickshaw driver. SIT has been formed to investigate the case. Meanwhile, after the case came to light, there is anger among the people in Ratnagiri and the local people are protesting.
According to Ratnagiri police, a 19-year-old nursing student returning home from college was allegedly raped by an auto-rickshaw driver after she was drugged. Officials said a case has been registered based on the victim’s statement. The investigation of the case has been handed over to the SIT, which will be headed by a senior woman officer.
The accused driver gave the victim girl water mixed with sedatives and when she became unconscious, he took her to a secluded place and raped her. The victim has been admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

What is the whole matter?
According to the information received, the nursing student had booked an autorickshaw to go home from her college due to ill health. When she sat in the auto, her health deteriorated. After which the accused driver gave her water to drink. As soon as she drank it, the girl became unconscious and then the accused driver took her to a deserted place and did brutality with her and fled. Later when the victim regained consciousness, she called her family. After which the family immediately reached the spot and then informed the police about the incident.
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police also came into action mode and registered a case and got the victim medically examined. Meanwhile, when the police team searched the CCTV footage of the area around the crime scene, the accused’s autorickshaw was seen in it. The police is searching for the accused with the help of CCTV video. The accused has been identified and further investigation is going on in the case.
