Uttarakhand: Almora blind murder case – Forcibly entering the house proved costly, murder was done by crushing with a stone

A few days ago, the body of an unknown person was found lying near Chaukhutia in Almora. After which the police was searching for the accused. The police has revealed the case and arrested the accused.

Let us tell you that on the morning of 24 August, the body of an unknown person was found lying on the road near Gaza Baskanya Chaukhutia in Almora. After which there was a sensation in the area. Regarding the matter, Mahesh Chandra Joshi, resident of Vetandhar, gave a complaint to the police about the murder of his brother Rakesh Joshi. After which the police started investigating the case.
In view of the sensitivity of the incident, Almora SSP Devendra Pincha formed five teams and instructed to arrest the accused as soon as possible. With the help of CCTV, the police reached the accused. The police arrested the accused Khim Singh (40) from Gaza.
He was killed by crushing with a stone
The accused confessed his crime and told during interrogation that he is a laborer by profession and is addicted to drinking alcohol. He spends all the money he gets as a labourer on alcohol. Because of this habit of his, his wife and children also do not live with him. The accused said that on the night of 23rd August, at around 11 pm, he reached his room and found a person sleeping on his bed.
When the accused tried to wake the person up, he started abusing and beating him. The accused got angry and hit Rakesh (deceased) on the head and face with a stone. After which Rakesh ran away to the road. The accused said that he went to the road and hit Rakesh on the head with a stone until he died. After which the accused hid the mobile of the deceased and fled.
