Uttarakhand: CM’s clear instructions to officers on polyhouse construction, action will be taken on delay, decision taken on natural farming

The Uttarakhand government is emphasizing on doubling the income of farmers in the state as well as promoting natural farming. However, from time to time, various schemes have also been run by the state and central government. So that the farmers leaving agriculture can be motivated towards agricultural work. In this sequence, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the Agriculture and Horticulture Department in the Secretariat on Tuesday.

During the meeting, CM Dhami directed the officials to make better efforts to increase the economy of the farmers in the state. Also instructed the officials that the farmers should get the benefit of all the schemes run by the government as a package. Apart from this, the farmers should get the full benefit of the schemes being run by the central and state government, for this, information about the schemes should be conveyed to the farmers by organizing programs at the state and district level.

CM got angry on polyhouse

On not getting the polyhouse constructed as per the target set in the state, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officials to fix the responsibility of the officers who delayed in the construction of polyhouse. Also, polyhouses should be constructed as per the target set for every year. Let us tell you that by 2027, a target has been set to build 23 thousand 342 polyhouses in the state. So far 8500 polyhouses have been built.

Promotion of millet production

CM Dhami said that special attention should be paid to ensure that maximum number of farmers get the benefit of agricultural mechanization scheme. Because under the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme, up to 80 percent subsidy is being given on all agricultural equipment. Farmers should be linked to the Farm Machinery Bank Scheme, so that they can get its benefits. Also, all the Gram Panchayats should be linked to the Farm Machinery Bank Scheme. The CM said that more work needs to be done to promote millets in the state. To promote millet production, there is a need to increase agriculture as well as production. In such a situation, natural farming should be promoted more in the state by paying special attention to the value addition of the products.

Emphasis on increasing the aromatic sector

During the meeting, the CM instructed the officials to work rapidly under the apple and kiwi mission in the state. He said that along with increasing the production of apples, there is also a need to focus on packaging and marketing. Because with the increase in apple and kiwi production, the income of the farmers of the state will also increase significantly. The CM said that there are many possibilities in the field of aroma in the state. In such a situation, the income of farmers can be increased through the aromatic sector. Therefore, farmers should be motivated for aromatic farming.

Participation of women is being increased

During the meeting, the officials said that 28 women have been linked to the Namo Drone Didi scheme to increase the income of women. This year, 280 women will be linked to this scheme. Under the State Millet Mission policy, a group of one thousand women has been formed so far. A target has been set to increase the number of these groups to three thousand by the year 2025. Under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, 5 thousand women farmers are being trained in organic farming for self-employment. Participation of women is also being increased in the field of tea production and aromatic farming and processing.

He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
