Huge uproar over the mosque being built in Sanjauli, Himachal Pradesh, Sukhu’s minister said – demolish it immediately
A ruckus has erupted in Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla over an allegedly illegal mosque. According to reports, the controversy related to the illegal mosque built in Sanjauli, Shimla is increasing and Anirudh Singh, a minister in the state’s Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government, has demanded immediate removal of the illegal construction. People of Hindu organizations are protesting in Chaura Maidan, Shimla. Heavy police force has been deployed in the surrounding areas of Sanjauli where the mosque is built. It is being told that this mosque has been built right next to the market in Sanjauli and its two floors are illegal.
‘The mosque was built illegally’
Due to the mosque being illegal, there is a demand to demolish them. Let us tell you that there was a demonstration here on this Sunday and now the matter has caught fire. In such a situation, the government has deployed police force within a radius of 5 km in Sanjauli to avoid any kind of untoward incident. Everything was peaceful in the entire area till 12 noon but then suddenly the crowd reached the spot. Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh government minister Anirudh Singh alleged that the mosque was built illegally by outsiders and it should be demolished immediately.
‘No one has the right to take the law into their own hands’
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has also given a statement on this issue. Sukhu has said that all religions are respected in Himachal Pradesh. Regarding the crowd protesting against the mosque, he said that no one has the right to take the law into their own hands. The CM said that in this case, action will be taken within the ambit of law as per the Constitution. He said that there is no need to look at it from a communal perspective. On the question of the mosque being built illegally, the Chief Minister said that if it is found to be illegal, action will be taken.
