Uttarakhand: 45 major administrative reshuffles including DMs of 6 districts, IAS Deepak Rawat also given new responsibility
There has been a major administrative reshuffle in Uttarakhand last night. On the instructions of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, there has been a reshuffle in the work of DMs of 6 districts and officers in many government departments.
37 IAS Transfer including DMs of 6 Districts
In the administrative reshuffle in Uttarakhand, the responsibilities of the senior officers of the secretariat have also been changed. A total of 45 senior officers including 37 IAS officers have been transferred, including one IFS officer, one secretariat officer and 6 officers from the provincial service. Kumaon Commissioner IAS Deepak Rawat has been given the additional responsibility of Secretary CM. Along with this, IAS Harishchandra Semwal will be the new Excise Commissioner and Jharna Kamthan has been given the responsibility of Director General of School Education. IAS Abhinav Shah has been made the Chief Development Officer of Dehradun.
DMs of these 6 districts changed
- In Dehradun, Savin Bansal has been given the responsibility of Dehradun DM in place of IAS Sonika, IAS Sonika has been sent to the post of Additional Secretary in the administration. In Haridwar district, IAS Karmendra Singh has been made DM in place of IAS Dhiraj Singh Garbyal.
- In Pithoragarh district, IAS Vinod Giri Goswami has been given the responsibility in place of DM Reena Joshi.
- In Bageshwar district, DM Anuradha Pal has been transferred to Additional Secretary Medical Health and Medical Education. Young IAS Ashish Bhatgai has been given the responsibility in his place.
- In Chamoli, DM Himanshu Khurana has been transferred to the post of Chief Executive Officer PMGSY and Secretary Right to Service Commission, IAS Sandeep Tiwari will take over the responsibility of Chamoli DM.
- In Almora, DM Vineet Tomar has been transferred to the post of MD Management KMVN, IAS Alok Kumar Pandey has been sent here.
