Harish Rawat said that the law and order in Haridwar has completely collapsed. Heinous crimes like rape are happening in the district. Dalits and minorities are unsafe. Traders are also not feeling safe. This government has completely failed to provide security and law and order to the people.
Harish Rawat’s warning to Haridwar police-administration
Harish Rawat said that the robbers came in broad daylight and fled after robbing the jewelry showroom. Even till now the police has not been able to trace those robbers. In protest against this, Harish Rawat observed a silent fast today and also took out a march. Harish Rawat clarified that he had already warned the Haridwar police administration that he would solve the Haridwar jewellery robbery case by September 11. If it is not solved even after this, he will protest on September 12 and then go to Dehradun regarding this matter.
Harish Rawat said that Ranipur Mod is the busiest intersection of Haridwar, police patrols here continuously, despite that a robbery took place here. What could be a bigger failure of the police than this? Harish Rawat said that a similar robbery took place in Mangalore yesterday at a distance of 200 meters from the police post. It seems that Haridwar has become a heaven for robbers.
Rs 4 crore was looted in broad daylight in Haridwar
