Weather changed in Uttarakhand, first snowfall of the season occurred on the peaks of Kedarnath
Rain continues in the mountains. The situation is chaotic due to rain. On the other hand, snowfall is also happening on the peaks of Kedarnath Dham. After snowfall, extreme cold has increased in the Dham. The administration has made arrangements for bonfires for the pilgrims in the Dham.
It has been raining intermittently in the mountains for the last two days. The situation has become chaotic due to continuous rain. The rain is also affecting the journey to Kedarnath Dham. When it rains, pilgrims have to be stopped at safe places again and again. On the other hand, the first snowfall of the season has happened on the peaks behind the Kedarnath temple. These peaks have turned white with snow. After snowfall on the peaks, the cold has also increased in the Dham. In view of the cold, the administration has also made arrangements for bonfires in the Dham.
DM Saurabh Gaharwar said that due to snowfall in the peaks of Kedarnath Dham, the cold has increased in the Dham. Every pilgrim reaching the Dham is being taken care of. Pilgrims in Sonprayag are being requested to carry warm shoes, clothes and medicines with them. Security personnel have been deployed for the safety of pilgrims on the Kedarnath walking route. Here the personnel are making the pilgrims travel safely in places in danger zones.
Snowfall also occurred in Badrinath
Meanwhile, the first snowfall of the season was also seen in Badrinath Dham on Wednesday afternoon. Due to light snowfall on the peaks of Badrinath Dham, cold was also felt around the Dham.
