Uttarakhand: CM Dhami virtually addressed the Jagatoli Dashjula Vikas Mahotsav organized in Rudraprayag, released Rs 30 crore for Kedarnath Dham routes

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday virtually addressed the Jagatoli Dashjula Vikas Mahotsav-2024 program organized in Rudraprayag at the Chief Minister’s residence, Dehradun. On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated and wished everyone on the occasion of Jagatoli Dashjula Mahotsav. He said that this area of Dashjula has been a center of cultural, social and educational activities and famous for ancient traditions, fairs and cultural heritage. Mother Naini Devi, seated on the Naini peak of this region, protects all the people of Uttarakhand. This area is also a unique confluence of faith, rich traditions and natural beauty of Uttarakhand. Traditional fairs strengthen the religious energy within us and connect us to our roots and enhance the feeling of unity, dedication and faith.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said from Baba Kedar’s land that the third decade of the 21st century would be the decade of Uttarakhand. The state government is continuously working to fulfill the statement of the Prime Minister. He said that the state government is creating a distinct identity for the state in the country and the world from the point of view of economic, industrial and sustainable development. He said that former MLA of Kedarnath assembly constituency Late. Shaila Rani always worried about the development of this area and the welfare of the people here. The state government will definitely fulfill her dreams.
The Chief Minister said that the infrastructure is getting strengthened in every field including roads, education, health, drinking water in the state. The standard of living of every section of the state is being raised through various public welfare schemes. The work of reconstruction of various mythological sites including Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham is going on at a fast pace. Reconstruction work is being done in Kedarnath Dham at a cost of more than Rs 2 thousand crore. Work is also being done rapidly on the master plan of Badrinath. The state government is making the Char Dham Yatra more safe, well-organized and convenient. He said that despite facing major disasters, the government is working to provide every possible help to the affected people on time.
The Chief Minister said that he himself visited various disaster affected places and took stock of the situation there and also instructed the officials to resolve the problems of the local people immediately. The footpath to Kedarnath Dham was also hit by natural disaster and every devotee stranded on the Yatra route was brought safely. It was only with the blessings of Baba Kedar that we were able to bring thousands of people down safely. The state government has released an amount of Rs 30 crore for repairing the routes to Kedarnath Dham and making the security of the pilgrims even more foolproof. He said that every citizen of the state is his family and it is his resolution not to leave any member of his family alone in a disaster. He said that it is our resolution to take the flow of development to the last person standing in the entire state including Kedarnath area.
