A group of 81 pilgrims from Pakistan reached Piran Kaliyar amid tight security, will participate in the Urs

A group of 81 pilgrims from Pakistan has reached India to attend the 756th annual Urs of Hazrat Makhdoom Alauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir Sahib organized in Piran Kaliyar. The group reached Roorkee station on Sunday morning by Lahori Express train. From here the pilgrims were taken to Kaliyar by buses amid tight security. The pilgrims have been accommodated in Sabir Guest House there.

Like every year, this year too the crowd is gathering to attend the Kaliyar Urs. Pilgrims from Pakistan have also reached here. No one was allowed to talk to the 81 Pakistani pilgrims who reached Roorkee railway station. After completing their paperwork, they were brought to Kaliyar by buses from the railway station.

Pakistani pilgrims will participate in all the major rituals of the Urs. SP Rural Swapan Kishore Singh said that two embassy officials are also included with the 81 Pakistani pilgrims.

It was told that the pilgrims will leave for their homeland on September 19. This time the Pakistani group has Syed Fahad Iftekhar as the group leader, while the deputy leader is Mohammad Khalid.
