Uttarakhand: Like state employees, corporation, body, authority employees will also get 4 percent dearness allowance, CM Dhami approved
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved funds for all development projects to be held in the state. This includes the reconstruction of Champawat Motor Road and development work related to the expansion of Pantnagar Airport. This BJP-ruled government has decided to give the benefit of 4 percent dearness allowance to the employees working in corporations, bodies and authorities from January 1, 2024.
Like state employees, employees working and retired in corporations, bodies, authorities, panchayats, autonomous institutions and undertakings will also get an increased 4 percent dearness allowance from January 1, 2024. Dearness allowance will be paid to the employees of public bodies and undertakings receiving the fifth central pay scale at the increased rate from January 1, 2024.
Under the Chief Minister’s announcement, an amount of Rs 531.68 lakh has been approved. With this money, the Chhinkachhina-Rolmel motor road in Pati block of Champawat district will be reconstructed and improved. Apart from this, funds have also been approved for Dhanolti assembly constituency of Tehri Garhwal district. Rs 314.54 lakh has been approved for laying asphalt on the Bangsheel-Goldhar motor road here.
Under the state scheme, Rs 581.23 lakh has been approved for repairing the road from km 1 to 5 and laying asphalt on it to connect the Nyaya Panchayat headquarters in Ustoli of Ghat development block of Tharali assembly constituency of Chamoli district. Under the Chief Minister’s announcement, approval has been given to name the Manoli Daboli motor road after martyr Assistant Commandant Charu Chandra Pathak.
