Uttarakhand: CM Dhami in action to prevent dengue, brainstormed in a high-level meeting with officials
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a high-level review meeting with officials at the camp office today. All important topics including dengue prevention and Chardham Yatra were discussed in the meeting. Also, the officials were instructed to repair the roads and drinking water lines damaged by the disaster in the state soon.
The Chief Minister said that the rainy season is almost over. In such a situation, the work of construction and repair of roads should be started on a war footing. Whatever drinking water, power lines and connecting roads have been damaged in the disaster during the monsoon, they should be repaired on priority basis. He said that all the departments had many challenges during the monsoon, but now no negligence will be tolerated in this. Wherever there has been damage due to the disaster, its reconstruction work should be done in a timely manner. Also, all the roads of the state should be made pothole-free.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed Chief Secretary Radha Raturi to fix a responsibility of every officer for this campaign. Also, while discussing the Chardham Yatra, the CM instructed the officials that after the monsoon, the number of devotees will increase again till Diwali. In such a situation, complete all the preparations so that there is no chaos in the Dhams. At present, the Chardham Yatra is being conducted in a better way, but take special care that the passengers do not face any kind of inconvenience.
Regarding the increasing cases of dengue in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the increasing cases of dengue in the state are worrying. Therefore, all the departments including the Health Department should work together to prevent it, so that dengue can be controlled. He said that for the prevention of dengue, instructions have also been given to pay special attention to the cleanliness system in municipal bodies and rural areas.
